Basically, it's an idea we've been toying around with for some time, and also something we spoke to people at the York Cycle Show about to get some feedback.

What the idea is, is this:

We collect people in the UK and use the Rock Tour Buses (as on the Sea2Sea events) to drive us to the Ferry and then abroad. We'd do a day's biking somewhere (e.g. Holland) and then meet up with the buses at the end of the day, eat, drink, be merry, etc and then go to bed.

While we're sleeping the buses can travel for 9 hours (roughly 350 miles). You wake up in a different country, although you have no idea where you're heading for when you go to bed!

We tell you over breakfast where you are and where we'll be cycling that day!

This goes on for a few days basically (exact details are still sketchy!) but needless to say, we take in some of the best cycling areas in Europe before heading back to the uk.

Whether or not this is a charity thing or just a cycling hoiliday is undecided.

it would probably be better as a cycling holiday but it does sound pretty cool, specially having no idea of where your going while asleep, now why cant we have that happen every day lol?

Great idea. Maybe you could head for towns with their own breweries. Only probem is it would take two years to get through Belgium.'Hic'

Hiya all.

Well, as it's all still in the planning stage, and we have no idea about costs of the tour buses that include all the drivers we'd need and ferries, overnight stop places, etc, it's difficult to say how much it would cost, how many nights it would be over, etc.

But please keep commenting. Any ideas / suggestions are welcome :)
