We're pleased to announce details of the new one-day challenge event for 2009.
In teams of 4 you'll cycle either 100 miles or 100 km (pro/novice) and try to get back the the start point before sunset - £100 per team, £0 entry fee.
The fastest team in both categories over the course of the day choose the charities which all of the proceeds will be donated to.
It starts and finishes at the Yarnbury Rugby Football club (http://www.yarnbury.co.uk) in North Leeds where we'll be holding a BBQ & disco on the evening, with the bar available for purchases of much needed beer, wines and spirits!
You'll also be able to camp over the night before and the night of the event (Sunday 30th August) free of charge, but you'll need to bring along your own camping equipment!
The event is being run in association with the Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative (http://www.edinburghbicycle.com) and a member of their staff will be available during the course of the day with spares and tools ready to fix any bike related problems you have
