Sea2Sea Sponsorship Money - Please Read...

Postby Craz on Tue Oct 16, 2007 12:43 pm

I just wanted to let you know how to sort out the money you've raised on sponsorship forms.

Our system is as follows:

Please send your money and sponsorship forms (so that Sustrans can collect the gift aid from people who’ve given you their post code and house number) either by:

· Cheque made payable to ‘Sustrans’ to the CharityAdventure.org.uk
address (PO Box 135, Castleford, West Yorkshire, WF10 4WL) or

· Bank transfer to the CharityAdventure account so that we can write one
cheque out to Sustrans when all the money is collected in.

Bank transfer using your name as a reference to:
Sort Code: 30-92-68 Account: 02200206

Please do not send cheques made payable to ‘Charity Adventure’ and if you pay by bank transfer please also send your sponsorship form by post to the address above!

PLEASE DO NOT let people pay the money they owe via justgiving!! It really throws all our total calculations out of the window (we count amounts twice, etc)!

Hmmmm, it may be, it may not!

Just send the forms anyway. I'll make a mental note to add the house number on all new forms (having the memory of a fish I'll probably forget but I do try!).

Thanks for the info!

Can we collect all the money we raised, put it in our banks, then sponsor ourselves through the just giving website?

No, because that's where all our problems started!

We need to collect in all of the money so that we can knock it off our spreadsheet as it arrives.

You can, however, collect all the money you're owed and then transfer it in "ONE" go to the CharityAdventure account and we'll write a cheque on your behalves.

Under no circumstances send people who've sponsored you on your form to the justgiving site!

Does this work the same this year? Do you want the sponsorship form posting or can I scan it and e-mail it to you?
