Training quirey! 4 Churches Cycle

Postby ellybelly on Fri Feb 22, 2008 8:36 am

Hi everyone

myself (Mark E) and my cycling partner in crime Duncan were chatting over a pint the other friday night and we started to ask ourselves, now we have signed up for this years churches cycle, when should we start to do abit of training?

We do not want to start too early and be burnt out before the big weekend! Understanding how important it is to keep hydrated and fluid intake up, we decided to ponder this over afew pints.

After reading your details of past cycles, it was starting to look like we all start and end in a pub! So, as to show our dedication to get in the correct build up for the last weekend in March, we have decided to stick to this strict training by getting down the pud as much as we can.

We look forward to meeting up with you all soon

Mark and Duncan

Sutton Bank, don't be a wuss. White Horse bank is steeper.
Or why not chuck in Chimney Bank, Rosedale even steeper. Go on, It'll be great training for the C2C.
I volunteer to drive the support car.

You can drive whatever you want - just don't get in my way like that bobbin' Landrover did last year! And all of that effort was for £3.20!
