Post Ride Blues

Hi All you 4 Churchers!
I couldn't manage to get into work on Monday, I was just sooooo knackered! I just lay on the settee all day watching films-well we deserve it after the weekend we've had!
I wanted to just say how much I really enjoyed the ride and everyones company.
This is me going up the hills!! and then coming down again :D
The highs were reaching the top of the moors and getting to that fab pub with the roaring fire.... the lows were waking up out of my sleeping bag on Sunday feeling ultra crap due to 1)red wine and 2) a bit of a chill.
Someone remind me not to bother going to Hartlepool on a Sunday afternoon because it's SHUT!! Thank goodness for Pam knowing the local retail parks and finding a Pizza Hut- a very welcome bit of stodge to keep us going.
I thank all the guides, very much, for their patience and encouragement and giving us all the inspiration to get up off our bums and do something worthwhile and fun at the same time. I also thank Craz for his brutal honesty and lack of bull shit (I kept asking "is this the last hill yet?") and the reply was always "no, there's loads to go! I almost crashed a few times coming down the hills 'cos I had very ineffective brakes. I'm sure Russ has just found out how much I'm worth deceased.
A special shout to Alice for being incredibly sweet and having a very positive attitude, you helped me get on my bike again on Sunday morning when I felt poo.
The Amsterdame was definately a walk in the park compared to this challenge!! But I wouldn't have missed it for anything.
Ta Gaz,you're a very persuasive bloke.
Lianne xx
